About Nico Guillen

Nico’s roots are in Northern Virginia, but his heart has always belonged to Florida. In 2006, he first came down to Lakewood Ranch for what was supposed to be a vacation. The moment he experienced the better quality of life near the beach, the year round sunshine, and the endless things to enjoy in the local area, he knew this was more than just a getaway. In 2008, he and his family made the move to Lakewood Ranch permanent, and Florida quickly became home.

That deep connection to the area has shaped everything Nico does. Today, he specializes in helping clients find their perfect home in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Real estate is not just a career for him. It is a natural extension of his passion for guiding people through one of the most important decisions of their lives with care and expertise.

Before stepping into real estate, Nico built a strong foundation of leadership, sales excellence, and service. As an infantry squad leader in the United States Marine Corps, he completed three separate deployments and developed exceptional skills in tactical planning, team leadership, and performing under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability. Those Marine Corps values, loyalty, honesty, and whatever it takes with unwavering commitment, continue to guide his work today. He later excelled in high volume sales roles, including New Home Sales Consultant positions with Toll Brothers and D.R. Horton in Lakewood Ranch, as well as leadership roles in acquisition management and sales management.

Nico’s true strength lies in the genuine connections he builds with his clients and his deep local knowledge of the market. As a new construction expert, he brings clear communication, integrity, honesty, and unwavering commitment to every transaction. His core philosophy is simple: always do right by the client, putting their needs and best interests first no matter the situation.
